Step By Step Process On How To Get Your OFW IDOLE ID HERE

Are you one of the millions of OFWs waiting for the OFW iDOLE ID? It's been "introduced" last July 12, and we have the step by step process on how to get it online. You will need to retrieve your latest OEC since it's your most recent information as registered with the POEA.




 

Note that as of July 13, contrary to what the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) stated, the OFW ID as well as the shipping via Philpost is not free. The details of the procedure and payments are as follows.


STEP BY STEP PROCESS ON HOW TO GET YOUR OFW IDOLE  ID

STEP 1:
Get your latest OEC number. If you don't have the paper copy, you can check it thru bmonline registration (HERE).

Your latest OEC number is the first in the list. For receipt-only OEC, it's the receipt number.

STEP 2: Go to IDOLE services website at this link HERE

STEP 3: Click CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT, and the choices are given on which identification you would like to submit. One option is the OEC number. Since you got it, follow with the following steps.

STEP 4: If you choose the OEC Number, fill up the entry given.

STEP 5: After a successful registration, an activation link will be sent to the email address entered. Open that email and look for the e-mail from DOLE. Click the ACTIVATION LINK in that email. If you did not get the e-mail, check the SPAM folder.

STEP 6: Proceed with the registration, your bmonline information is in coordinated with the IDOLE online.
Click SELECT TRANSACTION.

STEP 7:  Click the ICON for OFW Card Application.

 Step 8: You have two options on how you want to receive the OFW ID, It's either you want it to be DELIVERED at your home address or PICK UP at your nearest POEA branch.

STEP 9: If you choose PICK UP, provide the nearest POEA branch near you. The charge for the OFW CARD is 501 Pesos. NOTE: Even we thought it was free, according to an interview with Sec. Bello. See it here.

STEP 10:  If you choose DELIVERY option, provide the address asked at the entry box. An amount of 200 Pesos for Philpost delivery will be added to the total amount.

 STEP 11: For payment options, you can choose the following: 

  • Bank payment
  • Online Payment
  • Mobile Payment
  • Bayad Center
  • Multipay Wallet
  • 7Eleven outlets
  • Philpost
  • ECPay
  • Bancnet
  • Debit/Credit Card

Note: International Debit or Credit Cards are currently not accepted. This means OFWs outside the Philippines must coordinate with a family member in the Philippines to make the payment for them, or they can pay online using ONLY Philippine bank accounts.

STEP 12: After payment is done, a confirmation will be sent to your email. Your online application of your OFW IDOLE ID is done.



Side note: A certain political Party List is claiming that the OFW IDOLE ID was donated by them. We are waiting for confirmation as well as documentary evidence regarding the statement. Also, we are studying the legal implications of such claims.
